John Verpeleti has been promoted to Managing Director Investment Services for Eastern Europe which is an expansion of his current geographic duties across the region. The new extended scope of his responsibility now includes the company’s capital markets business across Russia and South East Europe in addition to Central and Eastern Europe. For the last 2 years John has focused on strengthening Colliers institutional capabilities and increasing company’s market share across the region.

John has been present in CEE for the last 21 years. Prior to Colliers International, John held senior positions with AXA Real Estate Investment Management and DTZ.

John holds academic qualifications in real estate valuations, business studies and property, and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), as well as a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute.

Sean Dowsey who presently leads Colliers International’s Asset and Property Management Services in Central and Eastern Europe including Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia, has been promoted to the position of Managing Director, Real Estate Management Services for Eastern Europe. In his new position Sean will focus on growing the property and asset management business in 16 markets within Eastern Europe.

Additionally, Luke Dawson who presently holds the position of Managing Director of Colliers International in Serbia and Regional Director of Operations for Eastern Europe is taking over the position of Regional Managing Director for Colliers across South East Europe including the countries of Albania, Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro and Croatia.

Luke is based in Belgrade, from there he focuses his efforts on supporting the growth of South East Europe businesses.
