Colliers International has been appointed as Property Manager of Olympian Logistic Parks, the 45,000 sqm industrial portfolio owned by GE Capital Real Estate in partnership with Helios Phoenix.
Bucharest, 22 November 2011 – Olympian Parks comprises two industrial & logistic centers, in Timisoara and Brasov, accommodating small, medium and large-size companies operating in local and international distribution, dry or cold warehousing and light industry.
The 27,280 sqm project developed in Timisoara was delivered on the market in Q2 2011. With this location, the project is close to Western Europe and thus may serve the needs of logistic occupiers operating at a regional level. Many major retail and commercial developments are planned in Timisoara, enhancing the need for storage facilities.
The park located in Brasov is situated at 8 km west of the city, on E574, which provides good accessibility to several important routes, among which DN1, that links the city with Bucharest. Olympian Park Brasov offers 17,880 sqm quality warehouse spaces.
After launching the Property Management division early this year, Colliers International has succeeded in winning two major clients, a medium sized office building developed by Allianz Tiriac and the two properties owned by GE Capital Real Estate in partnership with Helios Phoenix. In this role, Colliers is responsible for tenant management, sourcing, controlling the operational budget, maintaining and improving the overall performance of the assets, as well as financial services and reporting to the landlord.
“Winning GE Capital Real Estate’s property management mandate here is a major achievement for Colliers International Romania. They are a very important client to us and our team is looking forward to take care of Olympian Timisoara and Olympian Brasov to the best of our abilities”, stated Stefania Baldovinescu, Director of Property Management services in Romania.
“I am delighted GE Capital Real Estate has chosen Colliers International as their preferred partner for property management services, in relation to these logistics parks. This instruction represents an important step forward for our property management team and illustrates our ability to provide quality property management services in Romania, to major international property owners. On the strength of this instruction we look forward to continuing to build a strong relationship with GE Capital Real Estate across Central and Eastern Europe”, stated Sean Dowsey, Director | CEE | Real Estate Management Services.
