Acting on behalf of Sweaty Betty, Colliers International’s Central London Retail Agency team has acquired a 900 sq ft ground and basement store for the high-end activewear retailer in Blackheath, London, on a 15-year lease.

Sara Law, Director in Colliers International’s Central London Retail Agency team, commented: “Blackheath is one of London’s prettiest neighbourhoods with an affluent community. From a specialist retailer’s perspective, it is a sought after area as it has a bustling high street filled with a selection of independent boutiques and high-end brands. Sweaty Betty’s unique offering – and huge following in fashion and fitness – will connect well with other like-minded businesses in the vicinity and the local community.”

Simon Hill-Norton, CEO, Sweaty Betty, added: ‘Blackheath is one of my favourite neighbourhoods in London and somewhere we have always wanted to open a store. We can’t wait to build a community in the area.”

Born in Notting Hill, London in 1998, Sweaty Betty was founded by Tamara Hill-Norton to redefine the way women dress for fitness and beyond. Famous for reversible yoga pants, statement prints, bum-sculpting leggings and technical fabrics, the women’s retailer, has over 60 shops worldwide including concessions in Harrods and Bloomingdales and a flagship store in Carnaby Street.
