Balls Brothers, one of London’s pre-eminent wine emporiums, has instructed Colliers International’s Leisure Agency team to open further sites across the capital.

For over 100 years, Balls Brothers has built a reputation for providing the very best in fine wine, exquisite spirits, classic British food and hospitality. The company currently has nine sites throughout London, and is looking to expand, with a particular interest in the West End. Other ideal locations include Covent Garden, Oxford Circus, Waterloo and Piccadilly.

Balls Brothers is seeking units ranging from 4,500 sq.ft. with close proximities to office developments, predominantly set at ground floor level. Outside space is preferred but not essential as is existing A4 Planning consent, which is required for public houses, wine bars and other drinking establishments (but not night clubs).

Ross Kirton, Head of Colliers International’s Leisure Agency team, commented: “As well as being an excellent choice for food and drink, like London, Balls Brothers is constantly changing and evolving. The success of the company’s new immersive masterclasses, which educate and inform guests on new gin, whiskey and wine emporiums, have propelled the business even further, so it is now seeking to expand its footprint.”

Toby Smith, CEO of Novus Leisure, the London operator that owns Balls Brothers added “After completing a number of refurbishments from within our existing estate we are excited about the opportunity to add new properties to our portfolio in both the City of London and the West End.”
