1st February 2017 - Real estate advisors Colliers International have sold Manor House Park in Allonby, Cumbria, from an asking price of £2.25m.

Acting on behalf of its longstanding private owner, Colliers sold the 5.5 hectare (13.7 acre) complex with 188 static caravan pitches, hard standing pitches for 20 touring caravans and bar and restaurant to Lyons Holiday Parks Ltd, its tenth holiday park in the North West.

Manor House Park has spectacular views and is located on the outskirts of the tourist village of Allonby in West Cumbria and in the Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between the seaside towns of Maryport and Silloth.

Richard Moss, Head of UK Parks Agency at Colliers International, achieved the sale and said: “We witnessed significant demand for this substantial holiday park, partly because of its size and stellar coastal location.

“The disposal of Manor House Park provides further evidence of positive market conditions for those wishing to sell with no shortage of buyers for quality sites in strong locations. We wish Lyons Holiday Parks all the best with its latest acquisition.”

Joseph Mound of Lyons Holiday Parks commented: “We are delighted with our latest acquisition which takes our expanding group to a total of 10 holiday parks and almost 4,000 pitches. We will look to further expand the business and continue to provide high quality holidays to our customers; old and new.”
