St. Petersburg is considered by a number of major European brands to be a priory city for entering Russian market due to its unique architecture and straight wide streets as well as affordable premises in comparison to Moscow. St. Petersburg still remains one of the few cities of Russia with the luxury goods and services segment expanding. St. Petersburg is also a popular holiday destination among tourists from Europe and Asia which are familiar with high street stores.  

The current situation analysis shows that luxury chain brands still do not rule out a the possibility to open flagship stores on high streets and Colliers International has already got several requests.
