As all the company’s cinemas in other cities, the multiplex in Murmansk Mall will be equipped with high-end Dolby® Atmos™ sound system, comfortable ergonomic chairs and a perfect climate control system. In addition, increased space between the rows of seats will increase the audience’s comfort.
Murmansk Mall is the brightest and largest shopping and entertainment project in Murmansk. The shopping centre, developed by Dorinda Invest, is scheduled to open in Q1 2015. Construction has reached the final phase with interior and facade fit-out works under way. 85% of the centre`s retail space has been leased to tenants which include the largest federal and international retail chains. Lease agreements have been signed with M.Video (2,000 m2), Sportmaster (1,300 m2), the children’s store Detskiy Mir (1,200 m2), Game Station (1,000 m2), Snezhnaya Koroleva (650 m2), Mango (650 m2) and McDonalds. A lease agreement with the Spanish Inditex fashion group, which will open 5 stores in the shopping centre (Zara, Stradivarius, Bershka, Pull & Bear, Oysho) has reached a crucial stage. These brands will be represented in Murmansk for the first time. The mall is located in the very centre of Murmansk on Lenina Prospekt. It is the main commercial street in the city, an area of dense residential development and a concentration of administrative and social institutions visited by residents daily. An O’KEY hypermarket operates successfully in the area. Murmansk Technical University with a student population of over 8,000 and the Five Corners square, the site of major events in the city, are in the vicinity of the shopping centre. More than 140,000 people live within a 10-minute journey. The interiors of the mall are decorated in an avant-garde style.
