St. Petersburg, February 19, 2014. With the contract signing, the brokerage campaign of Lotus Plaza headed into the homestretch. Over 50% of the center retail space are occupied by high quality pool of tenants including only the leaders of the market. The major national and international brands will feature in Lotus Plaza. 

Lotus Plaza Shopping and Entertainment Center is the largest retail project in Karelia. The gross building area of the complex amounts to 105,000 sq m, and the gross leasable area is 62,800 sq m. The shopping center is scheduled for commissioning in Q3 2014. The project is located in Petrozavodsk on the way to the St. Petersburg – Norway international highway at the intersection of the major roads of the city. It is a full-blown retail area, where the largest and most popular grocery hypermarket in Petrozavodsk, Sigma, has been operating for ten years (attendance is more than 400,000people a month). The shopping and entertainment center is located in the center of a dense residential and construction area. For the first time in the region, an international team including architectural practice Champan Taylor and exclusive agent Colliers International was engaged for the project.

The complex will house over 150 clothes, footwear and accessories stores, DIY hypermarket and a strong entertainment component. For the first time in Karelia, the fitness center with a swimming pool, restaurant with a view of the city, multiplex and the only skating rink in Petrozavodsk, operating year-round, will be opened in Lotus Plaza.
