  • He holds a Bachelors degree in Law and Business Administration and Management from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE E-3) and ended his studies at Stockholm University (Sweden).
Gonzalo is a Director in Hotels division. Since he joined our team in 2009 he has specialised in debt restructurings, selecting hotel operators, negotiating lease agreements and management contracts with Spanish and international operators, hotel feasibility studies and developing strategic business plans for hotel groups. He has extensive experience in hotel transactions and the analysis and valuation of debt portfolios secured by hotel assets, including both PLs (Performing Loans) and NPLs (Non-Performing Loans), where he has advised on transactions valued at over €1,500 million.

Notable achievements include advising the owners of Hotel Convención in Madrid on the selection of an international franchise (Novotel, Accor) and the sales of the Magic Life and Aldiana hotels in Fuerteventura and the Los Zocos hotel in Lanzarote. He also participated in the buy side advisory services provided for Octopus, Amazona, Gaudí and Whale debt portfolios.

He began his career in Santander Global Banking and Markets as an analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions Department.
