Following Kutxa savings bank instructions, Colliers International undertook a comprehensive analysis of the bank’s real estate portfolio. The possibility of disposing of a prime retail portfolio in San Sebastián with significant capital gains was detected during the analysis.

The detailed study of the lease contracts set out the importance of defining a singular transaction, well balanced in terms of real estate and financials in order to maximize the sale value. A deep analysis of optimum potential investors was prepared to find a reliable investor to start a due diligence process with Kutxa. By coordinating the opportunity through the Colliers International office network Redevco was selected as the optimum investor. After an agreement was reached with regards to price, Colliers investment team lead a dynamic sale process that minimized the time required for defining the structure and completing the transaction.
