On the basis of the customer’s requirements, the industrial team of Colliers International has identified suitable premises for the relocation of WEGU Slovakia s.r.o. production activities. And choice fell on the ready-made facility with an area of 12,000 m2 in PNK Park SEREĎ. Colliers International also roofed the lease negotiations and the entering into agreements. “The transaction took place in an extremely short time. The flexibility of the developer, who was not afraid to build in that location speculatively, significantly contributed to that.” Tomáš Horváth, Director of Industry and Logistics at Colliers International, said.

In the Sereď-South industrial zone, Russian developer PNK Group built an industrial park PNK Park SEREĎ, which currently offers 45 000 m2 of industrial and logistic ready-made facilities with a high technical standard and which also has additional 50 hectares ready for construction. “When entering the European market, we recognised that Slovakia was a destination of interest to our partners for a number of reasons: good human resource availability, it’s convenient location in the very heart of Europe and within easy reach of the countries of Central Europe,” said Partner of PNK Group Europe, Azamat Yerzhanov. “Our forecasts appear to have proven true: we have signed a long-term rent contract with one of Slovak automotive market’s large players - WEGU Slovakia. With regard to the structure of the contract and the complexity of the demands put forward by WEGU Group, this deal is quite unique. However, PNK building stands the test and meets the company’s stringent requirements and standards.”

The production activities of WEGU Slovakia s.r.o. will be localized in a hall with an area of 12,000 m2, while further expansion of the production is contemplated. Improvements for WEGU Holding are currently under way, so that the production can be launched at the beginning of 2019.

For this reason, we have approached Colliers International to find us more convenient premises. Industrial park in PNK Park SEREĎ was the most suitable for our requirements. Colliers International will also secure the administration of the newly-built industrial park in Sereď for PNK Group.

The Developer Gives Trust in the Location

By building an industrial park near Sereď, Russian developer PNK Group entered European market. In PNK Park SEREĎ, with a connection to R1 expressway, easy access to Bratislava (55 km) via D1 highway and good road transport links to Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic, the developer sees a potential of further growth.

Besides already leased 12 000 m2 building and completed 32 500 m2 building, PNK Park SEREĎ can offer nearly 230 000 m2 of industrial facilities on its 50 hectares of land available for further expansion,” said Azamat Yerzhanov.
