International property consultant, Colliers International is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Marcus Loo (劳耀萳) as Executive Director and head of Office Services. Mr Loo took over from Mr Calvin Yeo (杨光伟), who is promoted to Deputy Managing Director, Client Services.
Both appointments took effect on January 1, 2013.
Mr Marcus Loo (劳耀萳), Executive Director | Office Services
Mr Loo joined Colliers International in Year 2002 as an Assistant Manager in the office services division. He has more than 12 years of real estate experience in the office leasing market specialising predominantly in Tenant Representation, providing his clients with an array of real estate expertise ranging from lease acquisition to restructure.
He has represented numerous clients, ranging from some of the world's leading financial institutions such as swiss private banking firm Bank Julius Baer and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation to multinational leaders like automobile giant Toyota and revolutionary electronics conglomerate Samsung. He most recently concluded the largest CBD office transaction for 2012 on behalf of German financial group Allianz at Asia Square Tower 2.
With his new appointment, he will continue to grow the existing team and the business by providing the best in class tenant representation service to clients.
Prior to joining Colliers International, Mr Loo was with DTZ, where he was involved in general brokerage and tenant representation works.
Mr Loo, who is 37 years old, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the National University of Singapore.
Mr Calvin Yeo (杨光伟), Deputy Managing Director | Client Services
Mr Yeo headed the Singapore Office Services division from Year 2001 to 2012. Under his leadership, he has successfully developed Colliers’ office leasing business line into a major provider of tenant representation services to multinational companies.
With more than 20 years of real estate practice experience, Mr Yeo has demonstrated his ability to lead the business division in formulating sound real estate strategies, successfully advised tenants on their real estate portfolios. Some recent multinational client accounts include DBS Bank and Johnson & Johnson, among others.
In his new capacity, Mr Yeo will focus on strengthening Colliers’ integrated service offerings to clients.
Mr Yeo, who is 49 years old, is a member of the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers and he holds a Master’s degree from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.
