Bucharest, May 21st, 2014 — As of January 2014, Georgiana Andrei is appointed Director of the Office & Retail Agency within Colliers International Romania.
In this role, Georgiana Andrei (33 years) will coordinate the two divisions offering consultancy services for office and retail spaces. Her main responsibilities include consolidating the company’s position as market leader in Romania, as well as developing new service lines. Georgiana will work closely with the company’s key clients in order to better understand their business needs and provide them with a platform of value-add services.
"With an experience of 11 years in sales and management within Colliers, Georgiana accomplishes a natural step towards the role of a strategic partner for Colliers, together with Laurentiu Lazar (Valuation Director) and Stefania Baldovinescu (Director REMS). Due to her comprehensive experience as both manager and broker, as well as her creativity and excellent understanding of customers’ needs, Georgiana will be a crucial factor in successfully implementing an efficient company structure, while simultaneously focusing on innovation and the launch of new services. The real estate market today favors development and gaining market share on as many segments as possible is our top priority”, said Ilinca Paun, Managing Director Colliers International.
Georgiana Andrei joined Colliers in 2003 and over the past 11 years accumulated an important experience in coordinating consultancy and brokerage projects, as well as in human resources management. Since 2009, Georgiana was appointed Director of the Retail Agency, which is currently composed of two divisions – High Street and Shopping Centers – and has a total of 10 consultants.
Under her coordination, the Retail Agency within Colliers International grew to be recognized as one of the most innovative consultancy teams in Romania, continuously launching new service lines (consultancy, refurbishment and repositioning for shopping centers, high street sales, expansion strategies, consultancy for new brands and franchises), as well as for the successful management of large-scale projects. At present, the Retail division manages shopping centers with a total leasable area of 132,500 sq.m.
"I am confident that, together with the team of consultants, we will continue to increase the quality of ourservices and provide our clients with positive results and tailor-made solutions to meet their most pressing business needs", concludes Georgiana Andrei.
In the first quarter of 2014, the Office Agency within Colliers International dominated the office market, with over 30,000 sq.m. leased and 45% market share nationwide. In Bucharest, Colliers mediated half of all transactions involving agents (50% market share), on behalf of key clients such as: Vodafone (16,000 sq.m. in Bucharest One), Schneider Electric (3,100 sq.m. in Skanska Green Court Bucharest), Huawei (2,500 sq.m. in Bucharest One) or King.com (1,700 sq.m. in Opera Center).
Colliers International ended 2013 with a turnover of 4.5 million dollars and, as in previous years, occupied the leading position on the segment of real estate consultancy services for corporate clients in Romania.
