Dubai, October 21st 2012 – Colliers International has just won the Best Consultancy Award in the 2012-13 African Property Awards. Joaquim Chambel and Nuno Serrenho attended the Award Ceremony, held this weekend in Dubai, on behalf of Colliers. This year, Colliers had already won several of the International Property Awards in Europe and Asia. Colliers work in Africa is now rewarded with a well deserved award.
The African Property Awards 2012-2013 in association with Yamaha have now been judged and Colliers International won the Best Consultancy award.
Joaquim Chambel and Nuno Serrenho were invited to attend a high profile gala presentation dinner at the One & Only Royal Mirage Hotel in Dubai on Thursday, October 18th where the official announcement was be made.
The African Property Awards are part of the long established International Property Awards and its award winners’ logo is recognised as a symbol of excellence throughout the global industry. Attaining one of these coveted awards is indisputable evidence that Colliers International is capable of beating some exceedingly strong contenders within the highly competitive African property arena.
Judging was carried out through a meticulous process involving a panel of over 60 experts covering every aspect of the property business. Stuart Shield, president of the International Property Awards, says, “ We received entries from 10 different African countries this year and the standard was extremely high. Any company to win one of these awards has shown exceptional levels of professionalism and competence in their respective field.”
Later this year, the highest scoring winners from African Property Awards will compete against other winning companies from Asia Pacific, Europe, the Americas and Arabia to find the ultimate World’s Best in each category. These will be announced at the grand final to be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London on Friday, December 7th.
