Manila, December 1, 2017 – Pueblo de Panay Inc. has signed an agreement with Colliers International Philippines for the management of Information Technology and Business Process Management (IT-BPM) buildings ePerformax Center and The Genesis. Colliers will handle the general management of the facilities including technical and engineering functions, as well as cover the financial aspects of the building operations.

“We have appointed Colliers International Philippines as our partner in managing the ePerformax Center and The Genesis due to the global real estate services provider’s impeccable track record and world-class property management services,” said Jose Nery Ong, President and CEO of Pueblo de Panay, Inc. 

Pueblo de Panay, Inc. owns and operates Pueblo de Panay, a 500-hectare township that integrates office, residential, entertainment, leisure, and transportation components. It hosts the first and only IT-BPM Special Economic Zone in Northern Panay, providing tax perks and incentives to investors, particularly IT-BPM companies. Both ePerformax Center and The Genesis are located within the 7.4-hectare Pueblo de Panay Technopark in Roxas City, Capiz, as part of the 20 hectares that the township has allocated for Spring Valley. Spring Valley, the largest integrated technology and innovation hub in the Philippines, works with various government and private entities to undertake programs and projects to bring together talent development, a startup ecosystem, funding resources, innovation centers, and various support services.

In 2016, Roxas City was recognized by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and the Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) as an emerging destination for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) investments. The presence of Spring Valley, ePerformax Contact Centers and BPO, as well as other incoming tech companies is expected to further raise the city’s competitiveness as an ICT destination.  

“Working in Pueblo de Panay provides greater convenience to employees as they are surrounded by facilities such as a residential tower, mall, hotels, convention center, schools, government offices, and  a transport terminal,” added Ong.

“We see more IT-BPM tenants gravitating toward townships such as Pueblo de Panay as these developments offer a better living and working environment,” noted Jet Ilaga, Colliers International Philippines executive director for Real Estate Management Services (REMS).
