Manila, December 6, 2017 – Colliers International is pleased to announce that Richard Raymundo will assume the position of Managing Director, Philippines, effective 1 January 2018. He will be tasked with strengthening Colliers’ delivery of value for clients and growth in this important South East Asia market.
Mr. Raymundo is a Colliers veteran and established leader, having first joined the Company in Manila in 1996. During his career with Colliers he has developed a breadth of expertise in the Philippines and Asia, as Research Manager and Advisory Director in the Philippines and then as Asia Director for Valuation and Advisory, based in Hong Kong from 2008 to 2016. He relocated to the Philippines in October 2016 as Deputy Managing Director to strengthen the Company’s senior leadership team.
As Managing Director, Mr. Raymundo succeeds David Young, who has headed Colliers’ business in the Philippines since 2006 and will remain with the company as Chief Operating Officer, Philippines.
“Despite his lengthy overseas assignment, Richard is a well-known professional in the Philippines real estate industry and his local and Asia experience make him ideally placed to lead Colliers’ continuing expansion in the Philippines. This is the third time in the past 20 years that I have appointed Richard within our business, so I am very excited to be working with him again to accelerate our growth plans,” said Mr. Young.

Mr. Raymundo is 43, a Philippines Licensed Real Estate Broker, Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors and Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
