    23-12-2015 - In Amsterdam, Takeaway.com, better known as Thuisbezorgd.nl in the Netherlands, has rented approx. 1,300 m² of office space in the office building at the Oosterdoksstraat 80 “Oosterdokseiland” on behalf of the establishment of its headquarters. Takeaway.com is now based in Utrecht and has recently decided to move to Amsterdam for many reasons, including the attractive business climate.

    17-11-2015 - Colliers Hotels demonstrates cross border expertise with Netherlands hotel portfolio disposal Colliers Hotels International team has advised on the disposal of 11 hotels in the Netherlands. The deal saw a ‘consortium of trade and financial investors’ purchase TVHG Budget Hotel Group from a jointly held company which is funded by Metric Capital Partners LLP and Hutton Collins Partners LLP. The deal price is undisclosed.

  • Occupiers Cost Index (OCI) 2015: biggest drop European office costs in the Netherlands

    12-11-2015 - The average costs to establish an office in Europe amount to € 8,443.- per FTE per year according to The Occupier Cost Index 2015. The index is based on data gathered from 29 countries, 3,500 buildings, over 32 million m² and more than 1.7 million Full Time Equivalents (FTE). It has been developed by Colliers International Corporate Solutions.

    29-10-2015 Overall Highlights •Revenues for the third quarter were $420.3 million, a 13% increase (25% in local currency) relative to the same quarter in the prior year. In this new system 25% of the WOZ value will be taken into account in the calculation of the housing evaluation points. This influences the market value and the rental rates of non-liberalized houses. The consequences of the changes in regulation have been examined by Colliers International in their latest report: ‘Effects of the new housing evaluation system’.

The 314-room, 4 star hotel located directly opposite the Hoofddorp train station, only 4 minutes from the Schiphol Airport terminal will open its doors before the end of this year, however Corum already acquired the property now.

  • Market for office space can not benefit from economic recovery

    28-08-2015 - The end users activity on the Dutch market for office space in 2015 so far remained limited. The economic recovery has not yet resulted in a significant growth of take-up levels. Although the take-up of office space in the first six months slightly increased on the same period of 2014 with 374,000 m², the demand remains below previous years. This is shown in the Office Market Report H1 2015 published by Colliers International.

Based in Casablanca, the firm employs 15 people and provides a full range of commercial property services including sales and lease brokerage particularly for international companies operating in the region. Colliers currently employs 35 people in Casablanca and offers a range of services including tenant representation, workplace consulting and project management services.

    15-05-2015 - Commissioned by Sectie5 Colliers International Retail has signed a new lease contract with BCC for its establishment on the Emmaplein in Zeist. The contract is a new long-term agreement. BCC further increases its retail space in the center of Zeist from 900 m² to 1,200 m² and was advised by Berk & Levert Makelaardij. With 75 stores BCC is one of the largest and most successful retailer in the electronics sector in the Netherlands.

    12-01-2015 - Johan de Haan joined Colliers International the 1st of January 2015. As a real estate agent industrial & logistics he will join the team in Rotterdam. Before Colliers International De Haan (31) worked at Q Makelaars Bedrijfshuisvestiging B.V., where he worked for five years as a broker-valuer. Jim Orsel also joined Colliers International the 1st of January. He will join the team in Eindhoven as a real estate agent. The last years Jim worked as a broker-valuer at MVGM and Meeus Makelaars.
