Colliers International Ireland secures central Dublin Space for a major US Bio-Pharmaceutical Group

American biopharmaceutical company BioMarin has taken a lease of a 200sq m (2,153sq ft) on the penthouse floor of Iveagh Court in Dublin 2. It will pay a headline rent of €322 per sq m for five years. Owners McGarrell Reilly Group provided a fit-out as part of the deal. BioMarin are a new entrant to the Irish market this initial space is for sales and marketing employees with a view to expansion in Ireland and the rest of Europe.

BioMarin are listed on NASDEQ and they develop and commercialise innovative biopharmaceuticals for serious diseases and medical conditions. BioMarin has over 700 employees, is headquartered in Novato near San Francisco. Other international offices are in London’s west end, Sau Paulo, Buenos Aires and Hong Kong. Despite the current economic and property circumstances in Ireland this is a big vote of conference in Dublin as corporate business location and for Ireland as a location for foreign direct investment.
