The Roles Main Responsibilities 

  • Assist professional staff on specific project work or broader Business Group project work, and to work with designated colleagues to ensure that all assignments (either internal or external) are delivered in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct viewing in a timely and professional manner
  • Undertakes all assessment requirements from both Colliers International and the SCSI so that professional accreditation is obtained within a period agreed with the Company
  • Conducts professional work effectively for clients and process work to a high standard relative to his/her experience. Ensures that all relevant reporting requirements are met to agreed deadlines and in accordance with SCSI regulatory compliance standards to ensure that work is conducted within Colliers International Best Practice standards
  • Maintains contact with clients and key client contacts so that the client relationships can be managed effectively and efficiently, and that we get the best out of them
  • Successfully develops a variety of junior level client relationships.
  • Assists with generation of fee income to meet team and Business Group targets. Suggests new ideas for the generation of fee income
  • Seeks opportunities to develop new business including cross-selling and identification of new business
  • Proactively develops and demonstrates a strong interest, knowledge and understanding of our business and services and those of other departments
  • Actively attends seminars, presentations within wider business community to enhance profile


Requirements for these Roles

    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
    • Excellent organisation and time management skills
    • Sound IT skills, particularly MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
    • Must be able to work effectively as part of a team
    • Must possess very good written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrate appetite to advance these skills
    • Demonstrates proactive approach to continuous professional development. Will be expected to fulfil RICS / SCSI requirements regarding Continuing Professional Development, including the requirement to undertake not less than 48 hours CPD each calendar year whilst a Graduate.  Following successful completion of their APC the individual will be expected to fulfil CPD requirements for Chartered Surveyors (i.e. not less than 20 hours CPD per calendar year, with a minimum 60 hours CPD over 3 calendar years)
    • A relevant qualification and some market knowledge desirable
