The property industry, considered one of the biggest drivers of the Indonesian economy, still lacks the completeness and accuracy of the database.

Secretary General of DPP Real Estate Indonesia (REI) Paulus Totok Lusida said the availability of existing data in association, banking and government is still considered less accurate and incomplete to describe the state of property in Indonesia.

"Data from banks only shows the use of credit, the Ministry of PUPR majority for low-income housing data (MBR), and the data from developers are also not necessarily valid because on one side developers are afraid the data would be seen by competitors," said Totok when contacted Business, Tuesday (17/7).
