Colliers International today announced the appointment of Dominic Chung as Executive Director, Capital Markets & Investment Services, Asia as activity in the sector surges amid renewed growth prospects.
Dominic has more than 25 years of real estate experience, with more than 20 years focusing on investment transactions - 10 years of which were in the Mainland China market. In his new role, Dominic will focus on the transactions across the Asia region, assisting major clients in their major investment transactions across Asia, in collaboration with local investment teams.
“In view of the active traffic and the good long-term growth prospects in the region, we were searching for a high-calibre person to strengthen our leadership position in the capital markets and investment services area,” said Terence Tang, Managing Director, Capital Markets and Investment Services, Asia. “Dominic has an impressive and diverse list of accomplishments in investment markets in Hong Kong, Mainland China as well as substantial cross border transaction track record in Asia and North America. He will play a key role in the implementation of our next phase of growth.”
Dominic has extensive investment experience. Prior to joining Colliers International, Dominic was the Co-Head, Investment Properties, China and Head of Investment Properties, Hong Kong, CBRE from 2010 to 2014. During that period, he revamped the investment agency in China and built up the Hong Kong investment department from a small team into a sizeable investment agency with strong market presence and record earnings in subsequent years.
Dominic will be based in Hong Kong and will work closely with local senior investment executives, particularly in North Asia.
