Colliers International Hong Kong, the leading real estate services provider, has announced the relocation of its Industrial Services team to Kowloon as part of aggressive expansion plans across the harbour.
Already a leader in logistics and data centre leasing, the relocation of the Industrial Services team to Kowloon will witness the birth of a much larger leasing team in Kowloon under the leadership of Fiona Ngan, General Manager of Office Services, Kowloon, and Wayal Chiu, Senior Director of Industrial Services, at Colliers International Hong Kong.
"With such tremendous growth in Kowloon, it makes sense for us to combine forces to better serve our clients. The extended team will enable us to cater to the growing enquiries,” says Ngan. “We have ambitious plans to expand with this market, this move brings the industrial team into the heart of the market and thus closer to our clients. We have a very strong office services business in Kowloon, by bringing our industrial team into the same office, we are optimistic that we will see benefits for both teams."
To fully leverage the combined workforce, the Industrial Services team will expand to cover four specialist areas; logistics, data centre, sales and a new specialisation to serve the growing need of “business space”. Chiu says, “Recently a number of occupiers are seeking property solutions for their needs to locate their commercial and warehousing spaces in the same building, or in the same district, in order to achieve ultimate efficiency for their business operations. With our experience and in-depth knowledge on the industrial property sector, now further enhanced with our Kowloon force, we have never been better positioned to assist our clients in this market.”
Following the relocation, the company has also announced hiring plans to expand its base of property advisors.
