“Building our retail property expertise has been a major focus for us over the last five years,” said John
Kenny, CEO Australia and New Zealand at Colliers International. “McKenzie Hall is well-known in the
industry as having one of the strongest shopping centre and large format retail management and leasing
capabilities.

The McKenzie Hall team of 31 people will transition to Colliers International and will continue to manage
the 45 retail and large format centres they are currently involved with.

“We see the acquisition of McKenzie Hall complementing our existing retail management, capital
transaction and project leasing capability,” said Mr Kenny. “It also follows previous acquisitions of
specialty retail businesses in New Zealand and Western Australia, in addition to the acquisition of Briant
Champion Long (BCL) in the UK earlier this year.”

“We were attracted to Colliers International’s culture and existing expertise in the retail sector. By joining
forces we can now provide better opportunities to both our clients and our team as we become part of a
global enterprise,” said McKenzie Hall Executive Directors, Tony Draper and Dale McDermid. “Our
clients will continue to be serviced by the same team, but will now have access to a broader range of
services including capital transactions, valuations, consultancy, and research both nationally and
overseas.”

Across Australia and New Zealand, Colliers International manages over 150 retail assets and is currently
delivering more than 65 retail leasing projects over 350,000 square metres of space. During the year to
date, they have transacted over $1.5 billion worth of retail asset sales in the Australia/New Zealand
region.
