Colliers International No 1 agency in industrial leasing in Central and Eastern Europe
44% industrial leasing market share in the region
Colliers has summed up the first three quarters of 2012 in industrial sector in CEE. The company completed 93 deals that represents 44% market share in the region. The total number of the space leased by Colliers International in Eastern Europe amounts to nearly 800,000 m2 and the average size of the deal is approximately 8,500 m2.
The most successful teams in this sector are from Poland and the Czech Republic. Polish Industrial and Logistics Agency has leased 450 000 m2 in the period of Q1-Q3 and holds over 50% market share on the local market. The most significant transactions done by Polish team are those for Pilkington for which Colliers leased 31, 500 m2 in a building developed by Panattoni Europe within Euro-Park Wisłosan, Special Economic Zone of Tarnobrzeg, for Logwin, a logistics company for whom Colliers renegotiated their 35,000 m2 lease in Diamond Business Park Piaseczno, for Rohlig, a logistics company, for which Colliers secured 25,800 m2 space in Prologis Park Janki and for Żabka retail food chain provider for which Colliers negotiated 25,000 m2 in Tulipan Park Nadarzyn, a logistics park owned by Segro.
The Czech and Slovak industrial team represented automotive supplier Faurecia in locating and securing new production space in the Czech Republic. The team negotiated a contract for 25,900 m2.
Colliers Industrial and Logistics Agency is present in Poland, Russia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. The team specialises in tenant and landlord representation. The agency marked a similar market share in 2011 and was awarded Industrial Agency of the Year by CEE Real Estate Quality Awards 2012.
