Colliers International has been appointed by a consortium of 6 Dutch banks to act as director for the auction of the real estate portfolio of the declared bankrupt Dutch investor Eurocommerce.

The buildings, spread all over the Netherlands, consist of 44 office buildings with a total floor space of 270,000 sqm.

The 25,000 seating football stadium of Arnhem based Dutch premiere league football club Vitesse Arnhem, the “GelreDome” will also be auctioned on behalf of the banking consortium by Colliers’ Amsterdam Office.

Henk Dopheide, auction specialist at the Colliers Amsterdam office, who together with Sr. Colliers Partner Jacques Kwak, manages the auction process on behalf of the banks, commented: “This auction will be one of the largest auctions the Netherlands has ever seen”.

Colliers will auction the objects on October 29th in portions of 6 clusters. The auction will take place in the Felix Meritus building via the EAOGV (“Eerste Amsterdamse Onroerend Goed Veiling”, a leading Dutch real estate auction house.) The notary will be Mr. M. Albers from the Amsterdam based notary Albers & van Tienen. Legal advisors to the banking consortium is NautaDutilh Amsterdam.
