Colliers International, the international property consultants, has been chosen the exclusive leasing consultant for the opening of Idexe shops in Russia.
Idexe is an Italian trademark of children clothing for children aged 0-14, with more than 400 shops all over the world (and 120 of them in Italia). Idexe trademark belongs to Re.Com, producer of different children clothing trademarks for the leading international retail networks, such as Stockman, C&A, Bosco di Ciliegi. The shops under its own trademark have begun to successfully develop near 10 years ago.
After studying the experience of the international brands in Russia Idexe adjusted its production policy and changed the range of garments for the Russian market: they pay more attention to the school uniform, use warmer materials for the outerwear, and produce the special collection of linen for infants. Idexe autumn-winter collection will be delivered to the Russian shops on the 1st August and spring-summer – on the 1st of February.
Nakhodka company is the exclusive distributer of the Idexe trademark in Russia. In the period from 2012 till 2017 the company plans to invest about $12 million in the opening of 60 Idexe shops in Russia, including signing of the franchise agreements with the Russian companies.
Olga Kamenskaya, General Director Nakhodka, the exclusive distributor of the Idexe trademark in Russia:
“Going abroad we all are trying to buy clothes for our children. It costs cheaper there, it has higher quality. It’s more comfortable and more fashionable. The mission of our project is not only to give Russian family an opportunity to provide their children with convenient and fashionable clothes, like in Idexe shops all over the world, but also to take into account specific featuresof the Russian climate and traditions. We assume that the combination of the high level of the international brand with the expertise in the Russian retail market will give an excellent commercial and social result”.
Vladimir Alexandrovskiy, Head of Corporate Service Group, Retail Property Department Colliers International:
“Few retailers are ready to adjust their collection when they enter new market. Idexe formed the special range of the garments for the Russian customers. It’s worth noting that Idexe is one of the oldest Italian brands in children clothing. The company produces its goods only from natural materials. I suppose that such an approach will be to the Russian parents’ tastes, and Idexe will succeed in our market”.
