The acquisition is the first in the Central Belt by award-winning Roxhill Developments, which is also spearheading the mixed use development at Inverness Airport Business Park.
David Keir, executive chairman of Roxhill Developments, said: “This site presents an excellent opportunity to create a high quality development in a strategic location. Backed by our in-house team of construction and infrastructure specialists, we look forward to developing a series of ambitious design and build programmes, in partnership with individual occupiers.”
Bryce Stewart, director, Industrial & Logistics with Colliers International, added: “Serviced and ‘oven ready’ to accept construction, the site offers significant flexibility and scope, including the option to create up to six individual units. Newbridge Interchange is prime for logistics serving Edinburgh and greater Scotland, by road and air, with the site offering significant benefits to a range of companies, including the expanding internet distribution market.”
Colliers International has been appointed joint agent with Ryden for Roxhill’s Newbridge development.
The property was acquired from private equity fund Lone Star and the terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
