Chris Humphrey has been promoted to director of retail for Colliers International, in a move which sees the property consultants boost its senior team in Scotland in the wake of a number of high-profile client instructions.
Having joined Colliers International Scotland in 2005, Humphrey has more than ten years experience in retail agency, providing occupational advice to a broad range of institutional landlords, property companies and retailers across Scotland.
Noted for his work with retailers and institutional clients, including Dixons, Axa Investment Mangers and Legal and General, Chris has been involved in a number of high-profile leasing transactions for shopping centres, high street shops and retail parks. More recently, he has become a member of the Sainsbury's acquisition team in Scotland as retained agent, assisting with their ongoing expansion drive north of the border.
Tom Johnston, head of retail and Glasgow office with Colliers International in Scotland, said: "Chris' promotion is very well deserved and a reflection of his considerable abilities. It underscores our commitment to building a strong retail team, to service our clients in Scotland."
Commenting on the promotion, Bob Fisher, Colliers International's head of Scotland, said: "We aim to create a working environment which encourages and rewards high performance, enabling our best people to rise through the organisation. This has enabled us to develop a highly-skilled and well-managed team, which is among the best in the industry."
