Colliers International Experiencing Very High Level of Demand for Homes to Rent in Dublin

CALLING ALL LANDLORDS

The Letting Department in Colliers International is experiencing a strong demand for quality family homes in the surrounding areas in Dublin City and South County Dublin.

The number of available properties to rent has dramatically declined and the market is experiencing a severe glut with demand greatly outweighing supply. There is an increasing demand from tenants, specifically corporate tenants for family homes in the Dublin area both close to the city centre and south county Dublin.

Colliers International, as well as their own tenant listing is in constant contact with many relocation agents that have a long list of corporate clients searching for family homes to rent in Dublin. There have been a number of large international companies either expanding or simply relocating some overseas staff to Dublin. Therefore they need accommodation for their staff.

With many of these tenants, rent is paid by the company, therefore, security of payment of rent is guaranteed. Combine this with the fact that many of these companies are securing leases ranging from one to three years; these tenants are very appealing to a landlord.

Colliers has also experienced a large number of potential tenants whom have sold their own family home and are entering in rented accommodation in the hope that the capital market will continue to decline, thus making better use of their money in either trading up or trading down.

Colliers International is achieving very good rents for their landlords and the service that is provided is not just professional it is personal and there is a great focus on qualifying tenants thoroughly, thus ensuring the best tenants for their clients.

Colliers International is calling for any landlord or person considering letting their home to contact them in complete confidence. Clodagh Barry – Manager of the Residential Letting and Property Management Department is available to speak with at any time and would be delighted to meet with anyone considering renting their home/property.
