Colliers International has been called in to market the 1.47 acre site just off junction 47 of the M4 and some eight miles from the city centre.

The land off Christopher Rise, Pontlliw carries a resolution to grant outline planning permission for 11 dwellings.

Offers are invited by way of Informal Tender by 12 noon on Friday 28 March 2014.

Ben Meynell from Colliers International’s Development Consulting & Agency team said that site would provide much needed new houses to the area and contribute to the councils on-going housing needs.

“The existing outline permission encompasses 11 residential dwellings and through planning due diligence a section 106 agreement has been drafted specifying two affordable homes and a contribution to local education provision.

“There is an additional parcel of around five acres of land next to this plot under the same ownership and representations have been made to the UDP (Unitary Development Plan) of Wales highlighting its potential as a residential development site.”
