The deal will see Volkswagen open a state-of-the-art 30,000 sq ft vehicle dealership on the key site fronting Bad Homburg Way opposite existing Jaguar and BMW showrooms. This will be the first plot to be developed out at Matford Green and signals the way for other dealership operators in the area.

Infrastructure works to provide access into the business park from Yeoford Way to open up the 27 acre site are due to commence in early 2014 .
The Volkswagen showroom will is the first deal to be signed at the business park, which has planning consent for up to 500,000 sq ft of employment space. This will a includes 30,000 sq ft for a local centre to incorporate a public house, restaurant and retail facilities to serve Matford and Marsh Barton.
The area already has the largest concentration of car showrooms in the South West and is expected to attract further high profile manufacturers.
