Brussels - Auderghem, Friday 20 May 2016 - Colliers International Belgium appoints Jean Vandezande as Director of the Real Estate Services (RES) department, which consists of Jeroen Govers, Nicolas Martin and Gwen Van Dyck. Jean Vandezande also remains responsible for Business Development.
Between 2004 and 2014 Jean Vandezande was General Manager of Knight Frank and Equity Partner from 2008 to 2014. In 2014 he came on board with AOS Studley, which was taken over by Colliers in October of the same year. He has been highly successful in his position here as Business Development Director.
Since the acquisition of AOS in October 2014 and the acquisition of IDB Asset & Property Management in July 2015, Colliers International continues to develop its activities through the following departments: Project Management, Work Space Strategy, Design & Build, Tenant & Owner, Representation and Corporate Real Estate. This is done by providing various services within their expertise in the real estate sector. The integration of these various services has commenced and is at the same time one of the most important pillars in the growth of Colliers International Belgium. This also meets the demand from the market. Jean Vandezande also has this to say about his new challenge: "My responsibility for the RES department will enable us to make our mark in real estate services and develop it.” He adds: “I've been in the real estate market for 20 years and trend-setting, which is something very close to my heart, has always been an important differentiation factor in our market. In Belgium, after creating a legal framework for retirement homes, student accommodation, hotels and residences, I wouldn't exclude other transverse developments in RES in the future at Colliers International Belgium.' And he ends on a humorous note: “But no more details - that's the secret of being a trend-setter!”
