Profile

As an Office Leasing and Sales Specialist, Mr. Brinkley focuses on user representation, corporate solutions and major project marketing assignments for office and office/flex real estate. He also works with a broad variety of companies in a consultation, site selection and user representation capacity. During the past 15 years, he has completed transactions in excess of eight million square feet for a total transaction value of $1 billion dollars.

Mr. Brinkley also assisted with the consolidation of the former Maryland National Mortgage Corporation.  This $18 million transaction was named “Office Transaction of the Year” by the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors. He has assisted with the acquisition and disposition of multiple sites for Kelly Capital MBNA, MedStar, PHH, and Legg Mason.  Since 2000, Mr. Brinkley assisted Legg Mason, and its subsidiary Legg Mason Wood Walker, with approximately 50 transactions in excess of 750,000 square feet.  As an owner representative and project marketer, Mr. Brinkley has extensive experience creating marketing plans in the leasing and sales of office properties, representing local investors/owners and institutional owners.

Mr. Brinkley is civically involved as President of the Board of Directors for The Family Tree (formerly the center for the prevention of Child Abuse) as well as the Co-Chairman of the Great Chef's Committee and raised $375,000 in the Major Great Chef's Fundraiser.  Mr. Brinkley is a member and past chairman of the board of directors of the Towson branch of the YMCA of Central Maryland.  Mr. Brinkley is a graduate of the 2000 Greater Baltimore Committee Leadership Program and past president and regional director of the Baltimore Exchange Club.  Mr. Brinkley serves on the long-range capital planning committee and a member of the Vestry for The Church of the Good Shepherd.
