Douglas R. Sayer, SIOR, is President and CEO of Colliers Philadelphia, the region’s oldest full-service commercial real estate firm founded in 1920. Since joining Lanard & Axilbund in 1969, Doug has focused on developing the firm’s diverse service offerings while building and maintaining long-term client relationships. Originally an industrial broker, Doug became a Partner in 1977 and then shifted his focus to developing and strengthening the firm’s office, retail and investment divisions.

PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Under Doug’s leadership, Colliers has expanded beyond Philadelphia, opening offices in Mt. Laurel, NJ, Allentown, PA, West Conshohocken, PA, Harrisburg, PA and Wilmington, DE. Doug has also developed the firm’s range of services to encompass office, industrial, retail and investment brokerage, property management, non-profit, corporate services and appraisal. In 1994, he orchestrated the firm’s partnerhsip with Colliers International, a global real estate provider with 480 offices in 61 countries on 6 continents.

Doug is also a committed leader in the Philadelphia community, from charitable and educational causes to professional organizations. He has served as President of the Commercial and Industrial division of The Greater Philadelphia Board of Realtors and was a charter member of the University of Pennsylvania Real Estate Society. Doug is currently officer in the Philadelphia Chapter of SIOR and President of TriState Realtors® Commercial Alliance and has licensure for real estate practices in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and Florida.
