Deborah Perry has over twenty five years of experience in development, sales, leasing, tenant representation and investment sales for Commercial properties.

 

Business and Educational Background

Ms. Perry’s real estate career began in 1983 as a broker in Nevada. After completing her academic studies in 1983, she joined the Reininga Corporation as a property manager and leasing specialist for their Nevada portfolio. During that time, Ms. Perry completed her Certified Shopping Center Management (CSM) designation (1985) from the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Then in 1986 she became a founding partner of Commercial Property Services (CPS) in Reno, Nevada. CPS specialized in commercial sales, development, leasing and management of retail properties. Before CPS sold its third party management accounts in 1994, the company managed over 1.7 million square feet of commercial space.

 

Her focus from 1995 to the present has been directed to business opportunities in Northern California. She was responsible for the construction management of the “Nike Town” building in downtown San Francisco, a 75,000 square foot urban redevelopment project located on Union Square. In 1997 - 2004 she consulted for Longs Drugs as a broker for new site selection and development in Northern Nevada. In addition, in 1998 Safeway Stores hired Ms. Perry as a consultant to reorganize their Northern California Property Management Division.

 

In 1999 Ms. Perry joined Colliers International in their Walnut Creek office, where she was the 2009 “Retail Broker of  the year in the Bay Area”.

 

In 2010 she joined Grubb & Ellis as a Senior Vice President and East Bay Retail Group Leader. Her focus is Retail Tenant and Landlord representation working on suburban centers, downtown street retail, and urban mixed use projects in the East Bay Area including Solano County. She currently represents CVS/Pharmacy Drug Stores, JP Morgan Chase Bank and Gold’s Gym in the East Bay Area. In May of 2012 she rejoined Colliers International.
