Prior to joining Colliers Houston & Co., Mr. Simon was the Executive Vice President and Managing Director for Weichert Commercial Brokerage, Inc., where he was responsible for overseeing the firms office, industrial, land and investment divisions. Mr. Simon has twenty years of brokerage experience and before joining Weichert Commercial Brokerage, Inc. was a Principal with Newmark Real Estate of New Jersey.
Education
Mr. Simon received a B.S. degree in Marketing and Public Relations from Boston University in 1987. In 2000, he earned a Master of Science degree in Real Estate from New York University. The comprehensive curriculum covered in this program includes economics, market analysis, valuation, finance and investment, law and taxation.
Achievements
Mr. Simon has completed transactions on behalf of tenants including, Merrill Lynch, PaineWebber, Oxford, Cigna, Hughes Network Systems, Xerox, Libby-Owens Ford, Best Buy, Fremont General, and Bed, Bath & Beyond. He has also represented properties on behalf of Mack-Cali, Canada Life, John Hancock, Chase Manhattan Bank, Metropolitan Life, Archon Group and many prominent local landlords.
Mr. Simon was named the New Jersey Broker of the Year in 2000 by Reckson Associates Realty Corporation and earned the Office Deal of the Year award from Reckson in 2005. He has also received awards from Mack-Cali Realty Corporation in 2002 and 2003 and Advance Realty Group in 2005.
