He serves as the Senior Vice President and is a Principal of Colliers Keenan Inc. The primary areas of expertise include market analyses, feasibility studies, lease negotiations, tenant relations, corporate realty services, consultative brokerage, property repositioning, lease administration, development of new projects and receivership services.

Achievements

Mr. Lockwood holds the designations of a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and has served the Society as President of the Carolinas Chapter (1999), Chairman of the National Education Committee (2002), National Membership Evaluation Committee (1999-2001) and Board of Directors, Membership Council Vice President (2002-2004), Programs and Services Council (2006-2007), Educational Council Director (2007-2008) and member of the National Board of Directors (2002-2004 and 2006-2008). He holds the designation of Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) of the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute. Mr. Lockwood served various offices in the Central South Carolina Association of Realtors, including President in 1999 and recipient of the prestigious Realtor of the Year Award in 1999.  He is active in the South Carolina Association of Realtors and has served on the Board of Directors and as State Secretary, Treasurer, President-Elect and as President (2005) of the Association, the largest trade association in South Carolina. In 2002, he was named the Grassroots Realtor of the Year and in 2005 he was elected as a member of the Board of Directors to the National Association of REALTORS®. In 2007 Mr. Lockwood was appointed to the Executive Committee of the 1.3 million member NAR and serves on the Leadership Team for NAR in 2008 and 2009. Mr. Lockwood currently serves as the NAR Leadership Team Liaison representing the Commercial and Business Specialties of NAR.

Mr. Lockwood is also active in civic affairs, serving on the Board of Directors of the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce (2004-2009), the Board of Directors of EngenuitySC (2004-2009), and the Board of Directors of City Center Partnership (2006-2009). He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Friends of Juvenile Justice and Sandhills School and the Executive Committee of Riverland Hills Baptist Church.
