Caldwell Zimmerman entered real estate in Atlanta in 1972 as a broker with Adair Realty Company. In 1976, he joined Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services, initially as a broker, later as Sales Manager and ultimately as Resident Manager of the Downtown office. In 1986, he joined Portman-Barry Investments as Vice President/Associate Broker and later Managing Broker of a 35-agent brokerage operation, conducting in excess of $175 million in annual transaction volume. In 1993, he became President/Managing Broker of Ackerman & Co. Mr. Zimmerman joined Colliers Spectrum Cauble in 1999 as Executive Vice President/Principal.
