BUSINESS BACKGROUND
Mr. Allen joined Colliers International in Atlanta in 1969. During his tenure, he has helped establish Colliers International as one of Atlanta’s premier brokerage companies.

Mr. Allen has represented The Woodruff Arts Center in the following acquisitions or dispositions in Midtown Atlanta: Sale of key 1.66 acre site to the Department of Transportation for expansion of the 17th Street Bridge, assemblage of 6.24 acre Symphony Hall site, sale of 2 acre highrise development site.

Mr. Allen was a key member of the team selected to assemble the site for Midtown Plaza and a member of the development team for 1315 Peachtree Street in Midtown Atlanta. Mr. Allen has represented Atlanta’s largest advertising agency, WestWayne, now 22squared, inc., in three 10 year leases for 50,000-75,000 SF.

Mr. Allen was selected for property acquisition marketing assignments by Hartforld Insurance for development of Ashford Green (264,000 Class A office) Property and by Cox Communications Inc. for development of 1400 Lake Hearn Drive (266,000 Class A office). The site assemblage for both of the above properties, including initial zoning activities, was represented by Colliers International!
