Graduate of Emory University with a degree in economics and an accountant background as a Lieutenant in the Naval Supply Corps as well as six years in computer sales and management with IBM and Honeywell, Inc.
In 1968, formed his first real estate company and formed Colliers Dickinson formerly Walter Dickinson, Inc. in 1975.
