Continuing a family history in the Houston real estate market dating back 60 years, Todd N. Edmonds commenced his commercial real estate career in the late 1980’s as a real estate consultant and valuation expert. As an associate with Edmonds & Company, he worked directly with developers, investors, lenders and large institutions in analyzing market trends, pricing, acquisition and disposition scenarios for commercial properties throughout the Greater Houston area.Mr. Edmonds was with The Betz Companies from 1997 to 2002, where he specialized in the sale, leasing and acquisition of office/warehouse and commercial land with these activities primarily focused in northwest Houston and south Montgomery County. Recognized as a “Heavy Hitter” among commercial real estate brokers by the Houston Business Journal in 2000 and 2001, Todd was also among the top producers with the Betz Companies in 1999, 2000 and 2001.In 2002, Mr. Edmonds joined Colliers International as Vice President in the Industrial/Land Division and was given the responsibility of expanding Colliers’ presence in these areas throughout Greater Houston. His knowledge and expertise quickly made him known as Colliers’ Houston Land expert. In 2003 he was recognized as the “Colliers All Star” and has been among the top revenue producers each year since joining the firm. Todd received his SIOR designation in 2005 and the following year was promoted to Principal and is head of Colliers Houston Land Group. Through his experience and expertise in Land transactions in the Houston area he mentors many aspiring brokers, and has been nominated regularly by HBJ as one of Houston’s Real Estate Heavy Hitters.
