Steven A. Kohn is a Senior Vice President within the Industrial advisory group of Colliers International where he assists users and owners in the leasing, sales, acquisition and disposition of industrial real estate.

Steven has vast experience with build to suits, strategic real estate planning, sales, leases, acquisitions, dispositions, consolidations, incentive procurement, lease renegotiations, logistic assessment analysis and lease renewal consultation.

Steven has been instrumental in The Home Depot’s recent revamping of their distribution network. Among many notable transactions, the Rapid Deployment Centers in Monroe, Ohio, Topeka, Kansas, Romeoville, Illinois, Joliet, Illinois and Van Buren, Ohio presented tremendous challenges in today’s environment.

These transactions included identifying land sites, coordination incentives, negotiating build-to-suit details, innovative financing techniques and groundbreaking lease strategies.

Steven has been involved in the Industrial Real Estate business with Colliers International since January of 1997.
Prior to his career at Colliers International, Steve was the Co-Publisher of “The Blue Line” an extremely popular sports magazine in Chicago.

Steven is active with The Mercy Home on Chicago’s West Side. For many years, Steven tutored Cord Boyce throughout Cord’s High School Career. Steven is now involved in fundraising activities.
