Michael Adams joined Colliers International's Office Advisory Group in 2007. He brings more than 20 years of diversified experience in commercial real estate, finance, construction, and architectural services.
Prior to joining Colliers, Michael spent 9 years with Grubb & Ellis Commercial Real Estate in Rosemont, IL, most recently as Senior Vice President. In 2004-2005, he ranked among the Top 10 revenue producers in the Chicago area for Grubb & Ellis. He was named to the company’s “Circle of Excellence” in 2005. Before Grubb & Ellis, Michael spent four years as a Vice President for a general contracting firm.

Through his representation of tenants, Michael provides a variety of services including acquisitions, dispositions, business relocations, and lease negotiations. He creates strategic real estate plans that closely coincide with each client’s overall business objectives. When representing landlords, he creates strategies that are custom to each property, with the ultimate goal to increase the building’s value throughout the hold period.
