Michael T. Mayer, SIOR, began his real estate career as an associate salesperson for the Cantwell Commercial Real Estate Company in Dallas, Texas. Upon returning to his native Kansas City in 1986, he accepted a position with the Cohen-Esrey Company. The following year, he was voted the Kansas City Metropolitan Realtor Salesperson of the Year-Commercial Rookie by the Greater Kansas City Real Estate Board. He was also the Cohen-Esrey Commercial Rookie of the Year in 1987. Mike joined Grubb & Ellis| The Winbury Group in 1989 and was appointed Senior Vice President and shareholder in 1995. Mike joined Colliers Turley Martin Tucker in 2005. He has extensive experience representing tenants and landlords, and has negotiated leases in excess of $872 million.
