Originally called Fitzhardinge PLC, the group was incorporated on 6 April 2001 and changed its name by special resolution to Colliers CRE plc on 22 October 2004.

Description of company business
The Colliers CRE Group comprises: Colliers CRE (general practice surveying including Colliers Robert Barry, the hotels specialist, and Paul & Co, a specialist leisure consultancy); Colliers Capital (fund management); Locum Consulting (destination consulting); Colliers Godfrey Vaughan (West End offices) and Deanwater Estates (property co-investment).
Colliers CRE plc owns majority interests in two Colliers International affiliates:
- Colliers International Colliers Real Estate S.L. based in Madrid, Spain.
- Colliers Jackson-Stops based in Dublin, Republic of Ireland.
The Group provides a broad range of real estate consultancy services, including agency, valuation, property management, building and general property advice to both UK and international clients. These services are delivered through specialist sector or service line teams which work closely together to provide an integrated service. The Group has grown rapidly in recent years with revenue more than trebling from £38.2m in 2002 to £117.5m in 2007.
Relationship with Colliers International
Colliers International is a global alliance of independent property consultancies with 267 offices in 57 countries, working together to provide advisory services to an international client base. Each member country licenses the right to use the Colliers name. Colliers CRE has held the exclusive licence for the UK since 1994.
The Group is the second largest member firm in the Colliers International affiliation and, as such, we hold one of the seven seats on the Colliers International Governing Committee and the Joint-Chair of the Colliers European Regional Committee.
