Representing DAFI – the construction and investment holding Colliers International leased out 14,000 sqm of retail space in a new multifunctional shopping complex in Kharkiv to OBI – the leading German retailer.

Colliers International successfully completed the concept optimization for Pyramida shopping center. After the shopping center had been acquired by 1849 PLC and Apollo Real Estate Advisors investment companies, Colliers International, as an exclusive leasing agent, significantly improved the tenant mix by bringing such retail operators as Foxtrot – the household appliances supermarket (1,400 sqm), SMYK – a popular Polish operator (740 sqm), Empik – book and multimedia supermarket (540 sqm), Brocard (360 sqm), Peacocks (420 ssqm), Reserved (400 sqm), Cropp (250 sqm), and so forth.

Colliers International finalized the concept development for Aquapark shopping & entertainment center, (GLA of 40,000 sqm) located on 14, Dniprovska Naberezhna St. in Kyiv and has been appointed as an exclusive leasing agent. The shopping & entertainment center is to be opened in the I quarter 2010.

Colliers International also advised on concept development of Hippodrome shopping & entertainment center in Odesa (GLA over 60,000 sqm), owned by Acteeum Group, and had been appointed as an exclusive leasing agent as well. Colliers International is currently in negotiations process with the potential tenants.

In addition, Colliers International closed a number of leasing deals in the office premises segment of Kyiv.
Representing an international financial company, Colliers International closed a transaction on leasing of 1,586 sqm of office space in Parus business center on 2, Mechnikova St.

Representing tenant – an international telecommunication company – Colliers International signed a 1,200 sqm  leasing agreement in Horizon Park business center on 4 Grinchenko St.

Since the beginning of 2007, Colliers International has totally leased/sold around 30,000 sqm of office space on Kyiv’s office property market, whereof 17,000 sqm were leasing transactions and 13,000 sqm were sales transactions.
