Colliers International signed an agreement with Alta Centre shopping centre (Kyiv, GBA 22,000 sqm) on concept optimization and tenant mix upgrade.

The Landlord’s plans include the shopping centre repositioning, reconstruction as well as concept optimization and possible renaming.  

Repositioning is the first stage of this reformatting process. According to the new concept the shopping centre will be targeted on the consumers with “average and average plus” income status. The current supermarket will be transformed into the Gourmet format and relocated to the semi-basement level. The first level will contain a big clothing supermarket (1,500 sqm), accessorize, clothes and shoe stores of the leading world brands. The shopping centre will also include a restaurant and a coffee shop.

The project success will be mainly ensured by its good location (the shopping centre is located on the most popular highway connecting the city center with the Northern districts – Obolon and Vynogradar) and excellent transport and visual accessibility (the car flow 200,000 cars per day)

The restructured Alta Centre will welcome its consumers in 4th quarter 2009.
