Jim Zimsky, Senior Managing Director of Colliers International in San Diego, was named Colliers Manager of the Year during the recently held Colliers National Sales Conference at the Loews Hotel in Miami, FL.  The award is presented annually to the  manager who demonstrates an outstanding commitment to Colliers International.

Mike Spears, incoming Chairman of the Colliers Managers Steering Committee, presented the 2008 Colliers Manager of the Year Award to Zimsky.  According to Spears, “Jim…orchestrates a social support system of companions, close friends and is a confidante.  As Senior Managing Director, he has been a mentor to young professionals and based on revenue and profitability his office has been a top performing CMN office for the past five years.” 

Zimsky brings 35 years of commercial real estate experience to Colliers San Diego. He is responsible for day-to-day management of the 100-person brokerage operation. He joined Colliers in 1997 as a senior vice president in the Carlsbad office.
