Introduction to Colliers International – UAE

Colliers International established an office in the UAE in November 1996. The Company was formed under a Joint Venture with The National Investor, which is a wholly owned UAE Investment Bank and Corporate Financial Advisory Company.

The objective of the company is to bring international standards of property management and real estate expertise to the Gulf region. The Colliers Middle East office employs around 30 staff. Our staff includes Chartered Surveyors, Certified Shopping Centre Managers, Engineers and Facility Managers, Financial Analysts as well as sales, accounts and management support teams. Our staff is English, Arabic, French, Polish, German and Urdu speakers.

Colliers Activities: 

• Two corporate offices in Abu Dhabi & Dubai. 
• UAE Property Assets currently under administration by value: US $ 600 million.
• Colliers UAE are currently directly managing, leasing or providing consultancy services on around 400,000 m2 of property throughout the Gulf Region.
• Total assets managed 1996 – 2003 is 495,000 m² (5.3 million sq. ft).
• Portfolio under administration split as per the pie chart alongside.
  Total commercial & retail leases concluded in the part 24 months: 200,000 m².
• US $ 5 billion worth of property assets valued since 1996.
• Colliers UAE have 35 staff members to include managers, technical support, accounts staff, leasing and sales staff and administration.
• Around 50% of our staff are Arabic speaking.
