We negotiated a lease for a 140,000 SF distribution center; then negotiated the purchase of adjacent land for truck and trailer parking and warehouse expansion.

From 2004 to 2007, the Miller Seymour team worked with Ashley Furniture on their Central Florida expansion. We began by locating a Tampa distribution center. We evaluated an existing Orlando warehouse and conducted site searches ending in the purchase of additional land for expansion of a regional hub.

Within 5 months of inception we negotiated a lease (with an option to purchase) for a 140,000 SF distribution center in the Tampa Bay market. Over a three year period, we conducted multiple additional investigations and tours of potential expansion sites across a 90 mile area. Finally, we negotiated the purchase of land adjacent to the initial warehouse for additional trailer and truck parking, and warehouse expansion. |
